Woolloomoolove – Free Monthly BBQ

Youth and Family Connect  founded and co-chair the Woolloomooloo Working Group Committee co-ordinating and providing assistance and a platform for: Kings Cross Police, PCYC City of Sydney, Art Gallery of NSW, CatholicCare, Charity Bounce, Ability Links, Artspace, BaptistCare-HopeStreet, Health NSW, Save The Children, LabourPower, Plunkett Street Public School, C3 Cares, WEAVE, Firstdraft Gallery and City of Sydney Youth Services.

Our free combined services monthly community barbecues – Woolloomoolove, are an invaluable opportunity for participating service providers to actively engage community members directly in an informal environment and demonstrate an atmosphere of collaborative spirit. It promotes the reactivation of our beautiful, but underutilised public areas creating and maintaining safe and inclusive spaces for families to enjoy and celebrate our diverse community. With music, arts, and sporting activities, whether you are local or from out of community, you are sure to enjoy and are welcome to attend our free monthly family BBQ. They are held on the last Friday of each month from 4pm to 6pm at Woolloomooloo Playground on the corner of Dowling Street and Pring Street Woolloomooloo.
